Anita Pointer: Artist from the Pointer Sisters passes on matured 74

Anita Pointer, an individual from Grammy-winning gathering the Pointer Sisters - whose hits included I'm So Invigorated and Hop (For My Affection) - has passed on from malignant growth matured 74.

Her marketing specialist Roger Neal said she kicked the bucket encompassed by her family at her Beverly Slopes home on Saturday.

The Pointer Sisters - at various times including Bonnie, Anita and their kin June and Ruth - shaped in Oakland, California, and first made progress during the 1970s.

The gathering won three Grammy grants and were respected with a star on the Hollywood Stroll of Popularity in 1994.

June kicked the bucket in 2006, while Bonnie - who left the gathering in 1977 and sought after a performance profession - passed on in 2020 matured 69.

Anita's girl Jada passed on in 2003, when the vocalist took over raising her granddaughter, Roxie McKain Pointer.
